This launch, which took place on September 16, 2026, not only showcased the latest in modern home design but also highlighted the important work of OSCAR’s Charity, supporting children facing brain tumours and their families.

Beal Homes, a well-established housebuilder based in East Yorkshire, is investing over £200 million in The Greenways development. This ambitious project is set to bring a total of 800 high-quality homes to Goole, with over 380 already sold, making it one of the most successful residential communities in Yorkshire. The development is crucial for the town’s regeneration, complementing the efforts of major employers like Siemens Mobility, who have also recently invested in the area.
Charity Support
The opening ceremony featured Amy Owen, the Fundraising Officer for OSCAR’s Charity, as the guest of honour. OSCAR’s Charity is dedicated to supporting children diagnosed with brain tumours and their families, focusing on raising awareness and funding research to improve diagnosis times and survival rates.
Amy, whose own son Roux was diagnosed with a brain tumour as an infant, expressed gratitude for Beal's support, stating:
“Having the support of a leading local business such as Beal Homes is invaluable, not only because of the generous financial support, but also in helping us to raise awareness of the work we do and how families can access help.”
Beal Homes is actively involved with OSCAR's, sponsoring the Star of Hope Wall at the charity's upcoming black-tie ball at Cave Castle in South Cave, East Yorkshire. This partnership reflects Beal's commitment to giving back to the community and supporting local causes.
Show Homes Unveiled
The new show arena at The Greenways features three distinct luxury show homes, each designed to showcase the variety of options available to potential buyers. The homes include:
A four-bedroom detached Haxby house type with a garage conversion
A three-bedroom detached Hackness home
A three-bedroom semi-detached Rosedale
These homes have been crafted by Edward Thomas Interiors, a specialist in new homes interior design, ensuring that each space is both stylish and functional.
Among the first visitors to explore the new show homes were Beth Roberts and Lewis Wood, a couple from Hull looking to purchase their first home together. Beth shared her excitement: “We’re interested in the Rosedale, and when we heard Beal were opening a show home of that house type, we decided to make the trip to Goole to see it for ourselves. The show home is lovely – seeing it in person has definitely confirmed that this is the home for us!”
