Great venue for a gig. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Feels like there's plenty on entrance and exit space. Great view of stage from slightly slopes floor.
Quite a small intimate theatre, some parts need small repairs (air vent in the stalls near G34) but the building maintains a historic charm. The show was Mother Goose, an Easter panto, and it was excellent. The whole cast were fabulous, including the lovely lady goose herself, who looked about 7' tall. Thoroughly enjoyed the mayhem of the 12 days of panto.
Last time I was at this place it was packed same again for the legend Ryan Giggs absolutely packed I feel the best view is up in the air but it’s what ever you fancy the building has some great old architecture features which you can’t get in the new builds but the venue clean old skool the staff very pleasant also professional the venue also very clean with plenty of bars or vendors on offer it’s a gem of Halifax .
We have just been to see the Taylormania tribute, the show was fantastic, no complaints there, however without sounding like a kill joy the amount of kids stood in the aisle and at the front dancing made it extremely difficult to see the show, we were sat on row C and couldn't see the stage clearly. I know people want to enjoy themselves but so do the others sat down and we've all paid £30 a ticket. It would have been better to make people stay in their seats until the last song and then they could go into the aisle and dance. We came last year as well and people weren't allowed up in the aisles or at the front. This was dissapointing and spoilt the show for us.
A great little theatre. Been here several times just recently to watch shows and the staff have been excellent. It's probably in need of a bit of a refurbishment in certain areas but it's still a great venue to see a show. There's parking close by as well which is great for a town centre.
