Thought-Provoking Speakers
This edition of the Salon series, often referred to as a ‘night out for your brain,’ features an impressive line-up of speakers who will delve into how our brains shape our understanding of the world.
Deborah Hyde: An anthropologist, author, and folklore expert, Deborah will be exploring the reasons behind our fascination with the supernatural. Dr Madeleine Pownall: A psychologist based at the University of Leeds, Dr Pownall will shine a light on the often-overlooked contributions of women in the field of psychology. Her talk will reveal how these pioneering figures helped transform our understanding of the human mind.
