<p><strong>Bookkeeper</strong></p> <p><strong>Harrogate , </strong><strong>£36,000 - £38,000 , </strong><strong>Hybrid work pattern in place</strong></p> <p>Robert Half Finance & Accounting are delighted to be recruiting for a Bookkeeper on behalf of a growing and well established business based in Harrogate.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys working in a varied, hands on role and taking ownership of the day today finance function. You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team, with the opportunity to make a real impact on the business.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing purchase and sales ledger activities</li><li>Processing invoices, payments and receipts</li><li>Bank reconciliations and cash management</li><li>Preparing and submitting VAT returns</li><li>Credit control and supplier statement reconciliations</li><li>Processing employee expenses</li><li>Assisting with month-end reporting and journals</li><li>Maintaining accurate financial records and accounting data</li><li>Supporting the production of management accounts</li></ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant role</li><li>Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping</li><li>Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills</li><li>Confident communicator with a proactive approach</li><li>QBE or AAT qualified candidates will be considered </li></ul> <p><strong>What's on Offer:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary of £36,000 - £38,000 depending on experience</li><li>Friendly and supportive working environment</li><li>Free car parking </li><li>Stable and growing business</li></ul> <p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
