<p>Experienced Legal Cashier (Temporary Contract - Up to 3 Months)</p> <p>A well-established and respected law firm in the heart of Harrogate is seeking an <strong>Experienced Legal Cashier</strong> to join their finance team on a <strong> part-time temporary basis for up to 3 months</strong>.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable Legal Cashier who can quickly integrate into a busy finance function and provide immediate support across a range of legal accounting duties. The successful candidate will have previous legal cashiering experience and a strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently</li><li>Handling electronic payments, receipts, and banking activities</li><li>Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations</li><li>Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules</li><li>Processing client and office account transfers</li><li>Managing residual balances and supporting compliance requirements</li><li>Investigating and resolving account queries and discrepancies</li><li>Assisting fee earners and colleagues with finance-related enquiries</li><li>Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc cashiering duties as required</li></ul> <p>About You</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will have:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm</li><li>Good working knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy</li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills</li><li>The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload</li><li>Strong IT skills, including experience using finance and case management systems</li><li>A proactive and professional approach</li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Central Harrogate location</li><li><strong>&#163;15.38 per hour</strong></li><li>Part-time hours</li><li>Temporary contract for up to 3 months</li><li>Supportive and friendly working environment</li><li>Immediate start available</li><li>Office-based role</li></ul> <p>If you're an experienced Legal Cashier available at short notice and looking for your next temporary opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.</p> <br />
