Payroll Officer
<p><strong>Payroll Coordinator, £27-30,000 DOE, Harrogate</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid / Harrogate<br /><strong>Job type:</strong> Permanent / Full-time<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> £27-30,000 DOE</p> <p>Are you a Payroll Coordinator looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work for a constantly evolving and forward-thinking company?</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has end to end payroll experience ideally high volume.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparation and input of payroll data</li><li>Minimum wage compliance checks</li><li>Payroll reconciliation</li><li>Pensions administration and auto-enrolment assessments</li><li>Production and distribution of payslips, P45s, and P60s</li><li>Generation and distribution of payroll reports</li><li>Calculation of average holiday pay for variable pay staff</li><li>Maintenance of payroll filing and electronic records</li><li>Handling pay-related queries from staff</li><li>Preparation and distribution of overtime templates</li><li>Maintenance of mileage records for company vehicles</li><li>Monitoring payroll KPIs across group companies</li><li>Submission of payroll statistics to the Office for National Statistics</li><li>Any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Payroll Manager or Group Payroll Manager</li></ul> <p><strong>Skills and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>payroll experience, including starters, leavers, statutory pay and leave</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Up-to-date knowledge of PAYE/NIC regulations</li><li>Experience handling pay-related queries</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel</li><li>Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines under pressure</li><li>Strong communication skills across all levels of the business</li><li>Experience with Automatic Enrolment and pension administration</li></ul> <p><strong>In return you will be offered:</strong></p> <ul> <li>25 days holiday plus BH</li><li>Central location close to public transport</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Excellent working environment</li></ul> <p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with payroll experience.
