<strong>Management Accountant | Harrogate Hybrid | &#163;40,000 &#43; Study Support &#43; Excellent Benefits<br /><br /></strong>Axon Moore is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, private equity-backed business based in Harrogate.<br /><br />Following significant growth through both acquisition and organic expansion, the finance team is continuing to evolve, creating an exciting opportunity for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join the business. This is an ideal role for someone looking to broaden their experience in a commercially focused environment, gaining exposure across group reporting, business partnering and finance transformation.<br /><br />Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the management accounts for a number of entities while supporting wider group reporting, budgeting and continuous improvement projects. This is a broad role offering excellent exposure and genuine career progression.<br /><br />Key responsibilities:&nbsp;<strong><strong><br /><br /></strong></strong> <ul> <li>Producing monthly management accounts for multiple entities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Delivering meaningful variance analysis and performance commentary.</li><li>Supporting the production of consolidated group reporting and board reporting packs.</li><li>Business partnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge.</li><li>Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.</li><li>Preparing VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Supporting cash flow forecasting, year-end audit and financial compliance.</li><li>Reviewing and improving finance processes and internal controls</li><li>Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses.</li></ul> <br />We're looking for someone who is ambitious, proactive and keen to continue developing their finance career.<br /><br />You will ideally have:<br /><ul> <li>Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.</li><li>Experience preparing monthly management accounts.</li><li>Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Look-ups and working with large data sets.</li><li>Experience working within an ERP system.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work closely with non-finance stakeholders.</li><li>A naturally inquisitive mindset with strong attention to detail and a drive to improve processes.</li></ul> <br />Salary and benefits:<br /><br /><ul> <li>Salary of <strong>&#163;35,000 - &#163;40,000</strong>, depending on experience.</li><li>Full study support, including professional fees, study materials and study leave.</li><li>Private medical insurance.</li><li>Company pension.</li><li>23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.</li><li>Additional employee benefits including lifestyle discounts and well-being perks.</li><li>Genuine opportunities for progression within a business experiencing sustained growth and investment.</li></ul> <br />INDFIN
