Senior Paraplanner
<p>FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established independent wealth management firm with the recruitment of a <strong>Senior Paraplanner</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Permanent </strong>position. This role will be based in the company’s central <strong>Harrogate </strong>office.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Salary</strong></p> <p>Fully negotiable, depending on experience and capabilities + discretionary bonus + private medical insurance + additional benefits</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Produce accurate and compliant suitability reports within agreed timescales.</li><li>Conduct detailed technical research across financial-planning products and solutions.</li><li>Assist with the preparation of client portfolio reviews.</li><li>Respond to technical queries from clients and Financial Advisers.</li><li>Produce detailed client cash-flow models.</li><li>Support advisers with complex pensions, investments and wider financial-planning cases.</li><li>Assist with maintaining and updating the firm’s preferred provider panels.</li><li>Monitor recommended providers, products and investment structures on an ongoing basis.</li><li>Work with the Technical team to update standard reports, recommendation wording and advisory tools.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge across all relevant areas of financial advice.</li><li>Produce technical bulletins and updates for clients and professional introducers.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and training to other members of the team.</li><li>Ensure all advice documentation meets regulatory and internal compliance standards.</li><li>Work closely with Advisers and administrators to ensure cases progress accurately and efficiently.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of three years’ experience working as a Paraplanner or in a comparable technical financial-services role.</li><li>Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to interpret complex technical information and communicate it clearly.</li><li>Competent using Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.</li><li>Confident supporting and developing less-experienced colleagues.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fully negotiable salary based on experience and capabilities.</li><li>Employer pension contribution.</li><li>Death-in-service benefit of four times annual salary.</li><li>24 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.</li><li>Discretionary bonus.</li><li>Vitality private medical insurance.</li><li>Professional examination support and technical training.</li><li>Support towards the Advanced Diploma and Chartered Financial Planner status.</li><li>Senior position reporting directly to the Managing Director.</li><li>Opportunity to influence the firm’s technical processes, provider panels and advice standards.</li><li>Supportive and experienced wealth-management team.</li><li>Central Leeds office location.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>For further information on this opportunity, or any other jobs, please apply via the link below or contact FindCore in the strictest confidence.</p>
