We booked this for private hire for a get together of old friends. The staff were really responsive and helpful to queries prior to arrival. They provided lots of information. The staff are all friendly. The self-catering kitchen is small for a large group and just about okay for cooking breakfast. We took full advantage of the hostel's offer of a curry buffet one night. There was a huge amount of wonderfully tasty curry, samosa, and naan. It was very delicious. The room was beautifully laid out for dinner too. There are a good number of rooms and of different types. Suitable for family groups, for couples, and people on their own. The building is enormous with large rooms for group meals and games.good amount of outside space. An easy walk to the steam railway and the lovely village of Haworth. Would happily stay here again.

We had a great stay at YHA Haworth. The hostel was an impressive building and it was clean and warm - beds were comfortable and the showers good. We had breakfast in the morning and that was very good. It is about a 25 minute walk to the Bronte Village but only a 5 minute drive.

This is a stunning place. The building is unique, with beautiful details (the carved wood, the high ceilings, nooks and crannies, stained glass). It has a special atmosphere, and if I believed in ghosts, this place would be full of them! The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a shame it's no longer a 'true YHA' and is now run by a partner. It still feels like one, for the best part. I was, however, disappointed by the absence of a bar, despite it being mentioned on the website. The quality of the cooked breakfast was very poor, too, when compared to other YHAs. It was well cooked, but the ingredients were very obviously cheap. On the whole, negatives aside, this is a very good value place in a very popular area, and the building retains great charm.

Just had one of the best afternoon teas within the YHA! Very tasty, generous portions at an excellent price and all prepared fresh. The atmosphere is very beautiful. Very friendly hosts. Highly recommend.

I just recently had a brilliant stay at the YHA Haworth. Me and Several members of our family had the pleasure of staying at YHA. We had a brilliant experience to say the least. We booked out several rooms, to sleep in, and also threw a party in the newly renovated entertainment room. We were lucky to have some good weather, which made my experience just that much better. The building itself is beautiful, and the stained glass windows, and the spiral staircase make for some amazing pictures. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place any more. We all loved our experience, and were treated extremely well. The service we received was brilliant, and we were treated very well. It was great fun for the family, and the children too. The games room allowed for the children to have their fun, while the sitting room allowed the older kids and the adults to relax. Brilliant stay, and I will for sure come again. Couldn’t recommend it any more. Definitely a stay worth making.
