The price for the medication here is daylight robbery, and I am taking the matter further Please read on….. I went today with my 10 month old dog for the first time. She was registered at another vet further away but decided to register closer to home. She has been limping for 24 hours and had a swollen lump on next to her pads on her paws. The vet told us the lump was a benign lump and should go away on its own and it’s something that younger animals can get. He then said to help it he will get her some foot ointment. He went to check if they had any and came back and said they didn’t but he will give us some ear ointment instead as it should do the same thing. We then got told to go pay at the front desk. The price came up at £101 to my surprise. But not knowing if they had charged extra for an urgent visit or any other charges I asked for an invoice and me and my daughter and our dog went to the car. The car park was busy so we set straight off and I asked my daughter to check the invoices It was at this point my daughter told me that they had charged £56 for the tiny 15ml bottle of ear drops for our dogs foot!!! I instantly pulled over and we both googled what they had gave us and we could find it all over the internet for £16!! It was at this point I rang the vets back up and said I would like to return the medicine as it’s not right to be charging 3.5X what other people are charging and not even letting the customers know the price!!! The receptionist went away and spoke with the practice manager (Gemma Place) to only come back and tell me I could not return it die to they don’t know how I’ve stored it???? I’ve literally left the vets for 10 mins and parked up down the road. Obviously at this point I felt totally scammed!! I complete understand the vets will have a higher price , but if something is £16 online the vets should be at the most £25…but £56 is absolutely criminal. The amount of vulnerable and old people they must be scamming must be in the thousands. I totally accept the £45 consultation fee and would have accepted (with gritted teeth), £25 for a tiny bottle of ear drops. But to come out with a bottle of ear drops, for our dogs poorly paw because they didn’t have the correct medicine in and then be charged £101 in total (£56 for tiny ear drops bottle) for no more than a 10 minutes is honestly shameful. I have sent a complaint in through their official complaints procedure. I am also going to contact the local MP, trading standards and citizens advice as this can’t be legal. No one is given a price for the items before you pay. I also asked for the practice managers name so I could include her in the complaint and for some bizarre reason refused to give it to me and told me to look it up on their website instead? Just seemed like they wanted to make it awkward for no reason??? After speaking to other friends and family about this, they have reassured me there is much much better local vets about that actually tell you the price of the medication before buying and actually let you know if it will be cheaper to buy yourself! This has seriously infuriated me. And I am now on a mission to take this as far as possible as, like I said above, the amount of people using vets4pets nationwide getting basically scammed must be incredible and surely this is not legal! Give this vets a wide birth and choose one of the other, honest and trustworthy vets. We wish we did! The £56 ear drops is in the picture…unbelievable

Appointment booked for vaccination and then they request a £10 booking fee a week later saying will cancel the appointment if you don’t pay also you have to wait 3 to 5 days to be refunded back to your bank account. Totally disgusted.

Our rescued tripawd Rhodesian Ridgeback Ginny needed her nails cutting. She really enjoyed visiting. Would recommend to everyone. Lovely big carpark and easy to get to. Thank you Ryan for saving our cat , Athena's life, ( in another place). We are so grateful you found the issue and gave us 13 extra wonderful years with her. Without your expertise and professionalism she would of died prematurely and in agony. We won't ever forget this. THANK YOU

The staff are great and are amazing with the animals, everything is explained well and the aftercare is excellent. The cat however wasn't a fan and gave it zero stars after leaving with less bits than he went in with.

We recently visited Vets4Pets with our cat Trixie, who has asthma. Over the last week, she had been struggling with a wheezy chest and wasn't eating much. We saw the vet Ryan, who was very gentle with our cat. The appointment didn't feel rushed, and Ryan suggested some steroids and antibiotics. Almost overnight, we saw a transformation in Trixie as she turned back into her happy self. Two weeks later, we went for a follow-up appointment, and again we saw Ryan. He checked her out, and all looked fine. He gave us further advice, and we were very happy and felt confident that our cat received the best possible care. Thank You
