Having had a leak on my power steering since the van was new and no mechanic or garage has ever wanted to take on the job of fixing it, I once tried Slick 50 Power Steering fluid, from a Halfords up in Inverness and it slowed the leak to a tiny fraction of what it used to be. I now use around 1 bottle a year and I'm fine with that, keeps the chassis free from rust! Hull is my local store and they thankfully sell it there too. guys on till are under pressure as they are often quite busy, but apart from needing more staff, they do a decent job.
Visited the St.Andrews Quay Store as our battery had died overnight - they had the battery we needed and Rob the engineer fitted within half an hour and had our car back in service. We are so grateful for his help and expertise and the receptionist was very helpful and the whole visit was amazing.
Excellent service from the team at Halfords. I walked up to the till as I had called in over a lunch time period & the young lady said she would be with me straight away. After checking my details the assistant took complete ownership & after confirming the fitting of the numberplates she did everything herself from start to finish. Absolutely delighted with the service, time it took to make and fit the plates and the call I received on the way home letting me know I had left something on the counter.
So easy , entered reg . Got wipers delivered to store , as a member of your club got £10 off .. and they offered free fitting , which they did immediately. 5 star service brilliant!
Needed a new Battery today, the Halfords Staff could not have been more helpful. The Battery was fitted and paid for within 30 mins excellent Service. The assistant and mechanic were most helpful and possessed excellent customer care skills. Wonderful.
