FMG Repair Services Hull

I don’t often leave reviews, but I have to say FMG in Hull did a fantastic job on my car—it looks brand new! Not only was the quality of the repair a 10/10, but the customer service was also outstanding. I received regular updates on the progress of my car, which really put my mind at ease. A special mention goes to Tina in the Hull branch, who went above and beyond throughout the whole process. She was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions promptly, and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Hopefully, I won’t need their services again anytime soon (in the best possible way!), but if I do, I’d be glad to work with Tina again. Highly recommend FMG!

FMG Repair Services HULL- I would not recommend this company. I was only having to go with them. Due to my insurance company. I have had to argue to get my car back. The staff are not that friendly. When you ring. You always feel like you are getting fogged off! Even going to the store, not a great atmosphere. If you have one of FMG courtesy vehicles. Expect to be waiting weeks on weeks. As I was told "You have a car to use". Which used a lot of fuel for a small Seat Arona hatchback. I had enough so I went into FMG Hull. Explained how in pain I am in with the courtesy car. The following day I got a text message - "we have now received all the parts needed for the repair. Your car is currently in the paint department of the workshop." 2 days later my car is ready for collection. I have had to wait 6 weeks for my car to get repaired. A day after collecting my car. I have to deal with, FMG store again! As the FRONT BUMPER has dropped. This had not been fitted correctly. More time and stress from my life.

Picked up my van on 23rd dec Payed £500 excess. Only to find out it had been done by cowboys. The repair is held on by tape. Poor standard of work . I will be reporting the unsatisfactory work to my insurance. Once they are open. I would avoid this place

Poor workmanship. Very disappointing. Only forced here due to the insurers. Firstly, vehicle was rushed back to me on closing day for Christmas - clearly rushed as part of the bumper had paint damage which they appeared to tipex over. Obviously I asked them to take it straight back. Within an hour they’d miraculously removed the bumper to repaint the affected area and get it back to me within 1 hour (they didn’t - they rived this edge of the bumper away from the vehicle resulting in a crack forming later on). Upon a professional removing the bumper to replace for us, since FMG refused it was their issue, lovely to see they’ve rived off my fog lamps and just decided to glue them on (clips broken which should be screwed to the bumper)!! This is not acceptable as new fog lamps are needed for them to now sit flush in their holes. My repairer also thought it was laughable that they managed to sort their paint issue and return it within an hour. Clearly was pulled away from vehicle causing stress on other clips and bolts resulting in the crack forming. Customer service also very rude. Would not recommend. STAY AWAY. Shocking, wrote my car off by over exaggerating the repair cost to my insurance and even had the cheek to add items to be replaced that were perfectly fine undamaged and in full working order! Ignorant and did not contact me with regards of car every two days like they say. App is still saying now that they’re fixing my car….independent assessment says £3-4,000 they quoted £7,406.26
