Connexin Live

Our Second time at Connexin Live Hull, another great night with like minded people. Well marshalled inside and out, Bar staff welcoming and polite. The Hall was roomy, Nine Hundred and fifty persons seated, views and audio good. We Parked at the Danish Church at the traffic lights approx Five minute walk away, although there is adequate multistory parking next to the venue.

Visited here last night (7/10/25) to watch Riverdance 30. The venue The location is quite a good location next to the city center and also right next to the Princes Quay Shopping Center. The building is quiet. Nice looking building and the surrounding area is very pleasant. The venue I think holds 3500 people and is very spacious. Security On arrival we joined the queue to go in and this was eased through really quickly with security giving clear instructions to people. We went through the security checkpoint and my partner had her bag searched, this took a matter of seconds and we were entering the venue. Getting to our seats When we walked in you are met with the food and drinks counters (it's expensive) we chose not to have anything as we had already eaten. The signage within the venue is bold and clear. We had no problems getting to our seats. The seating We were in the second row on the ground floor so had a great view. But the seats were small and very claustrophobic feeling for me. I was sat next to a larger person and I myself am a big lad so we were literally touching each other throughout the event, my partner to the other side I felt squeezed into the seat. My partner had a man's knees pushing into her bottom many times. The seats a very ridged and uncomfortable and by the end of the night we were both struggling with stiff backs. Feeling hot. Whist watching the event I started to feel quite hot and I think this was a combination of all the people in the venue and its heating. I felt hot for about 20 minutes or so (this was a good hour into the event) then all of a sudden vast breezes of cool air was pouring over us and it changed everything. We felt totally relaxed again and this was perfect. It of course i assume the air conditioning. The event This was amazing a totally fantastic experience we loved every minute. Getting out Be prepared to wait it takes a while to get people out and this was with both sets of double doors opened. It was emptying peacefully and well organized.

I was there as a graduand. That colours my experience of Connexin. But I have to say, it was amazing. Acoustics in the venue were amazing. The hall isn't claustrophobic, nor stuffy. It was comfortable inside even despite conditions outside (I wore a suit in British 2026 summer!). Key notes: the grounds seem 'accessible', but you might need assistance/aid at some points. And there's good (if limited) parking. (You could always park nearby in Princess Quay's) Overall, an amazing experience (again coloured by the fact that it was my graduation)

Fantastic venue and easy to navigate. We were here to see Paul Smith and we're already looking at what you have coming up. Main staff and security were polite and courteous. Bar staff were mostly amazing considering the number of people in attendance but 1 or 2 were clearly overwhelmed and couldn't keep pace causing frustration for some patrons.

My 1st time at the Stadium and enjoyed it, getting in/out of the Stadium was easy (we used the train into Hull) seating was good & comfy and the ELO tribute band were really good. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
