•Exciting news for music fans in Yorkshire! Two of the UK's most popular singer-songwriters, Jack Savoretti and James Morrison, are set to embark on a double-headline tour next summer, which will include performances at two iconic venues in the region. The Piece Hall in Halifax will host the duo on Friday, June 18, 2027, followed by a show at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Friday, July 9, 2027.

This much-anticipated tour will see both artists taking turns to perform as the headliner, ensuring fans get to enjoy the best of both worlds. Tickets for these shows will go on general sale starting at 10 am on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Yorkshire Venues
The Piece Hall, a historic venue in Halifax, has recently enjoyed a record-breaking year, selling 225,000 tickets for its summer series of 42 gigs.
Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL FRSA, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming performances:
“I’m really not sure how we’re going to top our 2026 season, but we’re certainly going to try!”
“Our courtyard is an incredibly special place for singer-songwriters, and I know they will love it here as much as we do.”
Scarborough Open Air Theatre has also had a remarkable summer, with 175,000 tickets sold over 28 gigs. Julian Murray from the promoting company Cuffe and Taylor shared his excitement about bringing Savoretti and Morrison to Scarborough, calling it “something truly special.” Morrison has previously performed at the venue as a special guest in 2022, making this a highly anticipated return.
