I contacted BDs a few days ago to request being an East Riding Councillor, if they would remove around 3 tons of tarmac scalpings that had been overlooked after one of their jobs in Withernsea, a resurface and its an easy thing to do. This pile was on a grass verge edge, not rally harming anything other than it had been overlooked, one phone call to a young lady and two days later I saw a grab wagon clearing it away, now thats good service but...it didn't stop there...the driver 'Bill', was working in great detail sweeping as much of the leftover off the path, off the grass etc, to get every scrap he could and I stopped and thanked him for such a thorough job, but..it didn't stop there..I saw him today back again with his truck, this time, unbelievably, spreading top soil onto the grass and unless my eyesight wasn't too good, actually spreading grass seed onto the soil...for it to re grass over...this remarkable gesture and response shows in every way a professional courteous supportive company and based on this, I would certainly thank them and recommend them for their amazing standard of service, added to, the resurface they did on the actual job is stunning too. Got a quote for a new resin drive from BDS, which I thought was quite reasonable. The work started a week earlier than planned, which suited us fine. Our old concrete and Tarmac drive was broken up and disposed of, after which the new foundation was laid and levelled. Then, a layer of Tarmac and then the final layer of Resin was laid. Many thanks to Billy and all the BDS staff involved in doing such an excellent job!
