PK Education Leeds

I applied for a supply teaching role with PK Education via Reed, specifically for a cover supervisor position based in Bradford, despite the agency being located in Leeds. After applying, I was contacted by Fiona, one of their consultants. Unfortunately, my experience with this agency has been disappointing. I have been registered with PK Education for two months now, yet I have not been offered a single day of work. After a month without any updates, I raised my concerns with Fiona, who reassured me that she would do everything possible to secure work for me. I then escalated the matter to the manager, Neil, who similarly assured me that he would work closely with Fiona to resolve the issue. However, six weeks later, I am still without any work. It appears that the agency's primary focus is on registering individuals in order to earn commission, rather than actively supporting them in securing placements. If the agency does not have strong ties with schools in Bradford, I believe I should have been informed of this during my registration interview. Fiona specifically told me that they work closely with schools in Bradford, and the role was advertised as being based in Bradford, which has made this experience even more confusing and frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend this agency to individuals who are looking for reliable work, as my experience has shown that they do not follow through on their promises or provide meaningful support.

Tracey has been a great manager, she has been very patient, helpful and supportive during my time with PK education. She has managed to keep me working during the the time I have been with the agency. I've had lots of varied work experiences and I have learned a lot from the staff in all the schools.
