Children's Services - Leeds City Council

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE A SECOND OF YOUR TIME UNLESS YOU RECORD EVERY SINGLE SECOND. EXTREMELY UNSAVTHEY ONLY STARTED FABRICATING STORIES WHEN I REFUSED TO HAVE MY CHILD HOME. .THEY EXCUSE CHILDREN RUNNING AROUND WITH KNIFES AND USE IT AGAINST YOU WHEN YOU CONTACT THE POLICE. YOUR AN EMBARRASSMENT TO LEEDS CITY COUNCIL.

Realy discusting took me grandaughter after seeing them mistreated by there own so called parents, 2yrs n 4yrs! The 4yr begged n pleaded n clung to me not to send her home! Found out some horrible truths, was then attacked in my own home and property destroyed, daughter told me she didn’t want them, asked social services do help me o be lied to and treated so badly, let me av the kids for over two weeks finally got them safe n secure n feelin happy again, told me I would get guardianship of them! N xx day to appear and let there father take them! The children were mortified and I hey had not assessed him! He was stayin with a sister he nearly knew! He didn’t have an income n couldn’t keep a job! He ad been done for domestic abuse many times recently and was know to take drugs! They didn’t even test him, or vet were he was staying and sent pictures of granddaughters heart broke askin my for m all night, now there ignoring me!

I have been reporting a concern for a child for 8 years, and others, including professionals, have made reports. The parent of the child have admitted to abusing their own child in more than one way, and many reports were made, and guess what they have done absolutely nothing. Reported it to the school, and they can not do anything unless the social services get in touch with them. How can you not take something like that seriously and get the poor child checked out. Absolute disgrace, you lot! You sit back and do nothing until it's too late. You only have to sit with this child for a short time to see that there is something wrong.

Never call back, never take anything seriously until it's too late. I reported concerns in 2020 and again in 2021 regarding the same person, it wasn't until one of the children suffered a third degree burn in 2022 that they (leeds children's services) took action. Pretty much sums up the "care" they offer. Further action is being taken against all involved, I just wanted to share my personal experience with leeds children's services.
