Halfords Autocentre Leeds (Low Road)

Absolutely shocking experience. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. My appointment was originally booked for yesterday, but I was told it had to be moved to today because the mechanic had already gone home. That was already inconvenient, but I accepted the change expecting the service to be completed promptly today. I dropped my car off at 8:00 AM for nothing more than an oil and filter change. Hours later, I was still waiting, with little to no communication about why it was taking so long. A basic job like this should not take an entire day, and customers shouldn’t have to chase for updates. The lack of organisation, poor communication, and complete disregard for customers’ time is unacceptable. If you can’t honour booked appointments and then still can’t complete a simple service within a reasonable time, something is seriously wrong with the way this dealership is run. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. There are plenty of garages that value their customers’ time and communicate properly. Based on my experience, I will not be returning.

After weeks of trying to find a garage that would do a sensor under warranty and no one would do it. I contacted Halford (low road) and they went through the warranty process. Once it was approved I got my car booked in (had a problem with the part coming in but that wasn’t to do with Halfords) I dealt with Connor. He kept me updated through the whole process and rebooked my car in. On the day. My car was the first one in and it was done within an hour. Very polite, professional and efficient. Thanks Connor for sorting my car and dealing with warranty. I’ll definitely return.

I was visiting a nearby business (Meat Mart) and noticed that one of my tyres was dangerously low, luckily Halfords was right around the corner so I turned up without an appointment and spoken with Travis. I explained my issue with my tyre and he said he will help pump it up for me. He told me that he suspected that I may have driven over a screw so he then taken the time to jack the car up to take a look. He was completely right - there was a screw stuck in my tyre and it was leaking out air. I've now just got back safely to my house. Thank you so much for all of the help Travis - You are a star and honestly helped me so much today, we really appreciate it!
