Nice and spacious place to shop, plenty of room to move about even during the busiest times. There's a plethora of stock that's updated on a weekly basis so there's always something new to see when visiting. It also includes a wall full of books, DVDs and CDs, ranging from refurbished to donated second hand, with most being priced at a bargain of 50p. They also have a seasonal section of goods, so searching for Christmas Gifts or Halloween outfits ect be sure to check here. The staff are friendly, welcoming and eager to help in any capacity. Would definitely recommend popping by for a look whenever possible!
The shop and stock are great. The member of the staff or manager (not sure which one they were) not so great. I bought a pair of jeans 2 days ago and it didn’t properly when I tried it on at home. The trousers went from the shop to the bag, to my house tried them on and back to the shop. The member of staff accused me of apparently removing the tag and then re applying it onto the jeans and spoke to me quite rudely. I took the exact same receipt I was give when I bought the jeans and apparently that was not the right receipt. I said that is the only receipt I was given. The staff insisted that they gave me another one which is the correct one if I wanted to return the item. In the end I left and gave them the jeans as well because I know I wouldn’t wear them. I know it is charity shop and it low prices and some of the members of staff are volunteers , however, customer service is customer service and some procedures should be followed at all times; not accusing someone of re applying the tag on a pair of jeans. I took a lot of donations there but I will surely not doing it again.
I absolutely love this shop. Its spacious, disabled friendly, dog friendly, its open Sundays and I must say probably one if the lowest prices out of all the charity shops in the town. Also the staff are very accommodating. I needed a certain item of which they didn't have on the shop floor so they looked in their back room for me and found exactly what I needed. I've recently been informed that this Sense charity shop won an award and is on display within the shop. Ask to see it though because I couldn't find it. I will most certainly be returning.
Lovely spacious clean shop with plenty of good stock I've bought something every time I've been in and the staff are very nice and helpful planning on visiting regularly it's not like the regular run of the mill charity shop and nice to see everything is priced correctly for a good cause. Will gladly recommend everyone to visit it's a very nice shopping experience.
Manager unfriendly some clothes stained or holes in. Workers stand and stare, stood at counter waiting to be served ages rung bell eventually came to till.
