Ankole Bottle Stop

A characterful little something for the drinks cabinet, the Ankole Bottle Stop is handcrafted from Ankole cow horn, so every piece has its own patterns and tones. It seals your bottle neatly and looks rather lovely doing so — a thoughtful finishing touch for wine, spirits or oils that spend a while on the side. It arrives in a handmade box of recycled paper and banana fibre, made by a local women's group near Kampala, which takes the fuss out of gift wrapping. Measuring approximately 4 inches, it makes a welcome present for hosts, collectors and anyone who enjoys a well-set bar. Please note: as horn is a natural material, colours and markings will vary from piece to piece.
