Jardinopia House Shaped Jute Bird Box

This bird nester is handcrafted in India using natural materials with a story behind them. The roof and upper structure are woven from munja — a tough Asiatic grass known for its natural water-repellent qualities and commonly used for rope and basketwork — while the lower body is wrapped in reclaimed sari fabric, gathered from factory offcuts and woven in. A strong metal frame runs throughout, built to stay outside in all weathers. The entrance hole has been sized specifically for smaller British garden birds such as tits and robins, while helping to deter larger birds and squirrels. Each nester is Fairtrade and one of a kind — the shape and size remain consistent, but the sari fabric will vary from piece to piece. Dimensions: H24 cm × W20 cm × D17 cm.
