Scale Model Scenery "Polsue" Barn/Stores & Workshop OO Gauge A versatile barn/workshop building suitable for farm, railway or industrial use. Inspired by a building in Mevagissey, Cornwall. Suitable for both beginners and the more experienced modeller, this kit is cleverly designed - containing not one, not two, but THREE buildings in one! A barn/store, a workshop with double-width wooden doors, and an open lean-to. The three buildings can be positioned separately or all together as one (as shown). The kit contains interior and exterior wall wraps in old stone texture - instantly transforming an ordinary wooden building into a property rich with character and history. The kit also includes slate roofing strips, corrugated iron roofing wraps, laser-cut windows and doors with engraved planks, hinges and locks. The small window is prototypically boarded up and the upper window can also be half-glazed if required. Doors and window frames require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic based paints. There's also plenty of scope for customisation too... with the slates being applied in individual strips it's easy to build it in either pristine or derelict condition (or anywhere in between), plus the optional steps at the end of the building can be omitted to give the appearance of them being demolished at some point, or to allow passing carts, lorries or wagons to be loaded via the side door.
