Juniperberry Essential Oil

Juniper is an evergreen conifer that is reputed to have the largest geographical range of any woody plant. Our juniperberry essential oil is extracted from the berries of the Juniperus communis tree, more often known as the common juniper. This impressive tree can reputedly live for over 200 years, producing new fruits every year. It is these "berries" - which resemble blue-black pine cones - from which the essential oil is extracted. While juniper may be found across a large number of countries, we utilise only trees from Italy, which are believed by many to produce a superior end product. Our manufacturer, which is Sedex registered to ensure sustainable harvesting, uses steam distillation of the juniper berries to produce the finished oil. As one might expect of the oil from a conifer tree, the scent is sweet, woody and fresh, helping to bring the sensation of nature into your home and encouraging calm.
