The Tillett B9 is an ultra-lightweight seat manufactured from Carbon fibre and is suitable for road or track day use. It is an updated version of the popular Tillett B1 seat and now features the same side mount points as used on the Tillett FIA homologated seats. This adds strength to the seat and also allows for universal (STBI) brackets or Lotus specific (EBR) brackets to be used. Drivers up to 120kg with a 36" (91.4cm) waistErgonomic shape designed for a comfortable fit with support, even without paddingThe Tillett B9 seat is designed and manufactured in the UK using a twin skin design which keeps the seat very rigid and allows for increased chassis feedback to the driver. Although the seat is narrow is it able to accommodate most driver shapes and sizes. Lower side bolsters allow for easier entry and exit while still providing great levels of lateral support. The ergonomic shape of the seat has been designed to provide optimum support with high levels of comfort even when used without padding.The Tillett B9 seat features harness slots in the back and base allowing 3, 4, 5 or 6 point harnesses to be used as well as standard 3 point seat belts. The back harness slots have been positioned to allow the use of an FHR device.The carbon fibre shell is made so that the outer edge can be either removed for narrow  tubs (43cm wide) or left on to create a continuous rolled edge around the whole perimeter of the seat (44.5cm wide). The B9 seat is supplied complete with a Dinamica suede covered headrest pad as standard.
