Laphroaig 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 70cl, Islay

Founded on Islay’s south coast in 1815, Royal Warrant holder Laphroaig is renowned for its distinctive maritime character. Laphroaig 15 Year Old relies on mineral-rich water from the Kilbride Stream and barley cold-smoked over 1840s kilns fuelled by ancient Islay peat. Matured for 15 years in ex-Bourbon American white oak barrels within coastal warehouses exposed to Atlantic air, this non-chill filtered single malt perfectly balances peat intensity with mature oak complexity. Fresh aromas of orange, grapefruit and dried hay rise above subtle smoke, vanilla and clove. Sea salt and smoke on the palate, layered with cracked black pepper and cinnamon leading to a long and smoky finish with lingering notes of peach. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
