Elaeagnus x submacrophylla 'Gilt Edge'

Gilt Edge is a hardy, evergreen shrub trim up to 4m and will make a perfect hedge. Position in full sun or partial shade, it will tolerate coastal winds and drought and dry soils, not recommended for chalk soils.Dark green leaves on the upper surface and a silvery shade underneath. In Autumn, small white fragrant,  flowers show and in Winter, small fruits that may remain unripe due to cold conditions.
