At its heart is an eight-inch woven Kevlar bass driver featuring an advanced motor system and large voice coil that reaches bass tones as low as 32Hz adding lifelike depth to your music.This woofer has been paired with a five-inch midrange driver also made from Kevlar which balances low and high frequencies with warmth and clarity allowing vocals and instruments to resonate. For the high frequencies Wharfedale has employed a lightweight fabric dome tweeter inspired by its acclaimed Dovedale speakers. Coated in specialised damping material and backed by a ceramic magnet this tweeter delivers smooth well-dispersed highs that easily reproduce subtle musical details. The cabinets multi-layered MDF construction bound by acoustic glue and damped to reduce vibration ensures undistorted audio.
