The Wharfedale Elysian 4R is designed for ambitious two-channel systems that need full-scale floorstanding performance. As the flagship model in the Elysian R Series it uses a true three-way driver layout to give bass midrange and treble their own dedicated sections helping complex music sound controlled spacious and naturally integrated. Dual 8.5-inch coated glass fibre matrix bass drivers provide deeper low-frequency reach and stronger dynamic headroom while the dedicated 6-inch midrange driver keeps vocals and instruments focused. The further-developed 27 x 90mm Elysian R AMT treble unit adds fast open high-frequency detail with low distortion. Generation R refinements also bring an updated crossover with premium components improved driver consistency and further-optimised cabinet behaviour while Wharfedales SLPP bass management helps deliver controlled bass with reduced placement sensitivity.
