An essential element for enclosing any multi-level or irregular shaped area, the simple fixing is perfect for glass balustrades enclosing raised decks and balconies, allowing visitors to enjoy the views in every direction. The flexible elbow joint has the same modern 400 grit brushed satin finish as our handrails, which feels ultra-smooth to the touch. The exterior grade 316 stainless steel contains 2% added molybdenum for improved corrosion resistance, While 316 stainless steel is renowned for its corrosion resistance, it is not immune to the potentially corrosive effects of exposure to salt, particularly in coastal areas. While it may provide enhanced protection compared to 304 stainless steel, the relentless presence of salt in sea air and its corrosive nature can still impact the material. Therefore, we do not recommend installing 316 stainless steel balustrade railings within a 10 mile proximity to the sea. Designed for use with our 42.4mm diameter tube handrails, the shoulder joints slide inside the cylindrical rail which should be pre-drilled and fixed securely in position with easily available pop rivets.
