HM Borges Malvasia (Malmsey) 30 Year Old Madeira

75cl / 20% - H.M Borges was founded in 1877 by Henrique Menezes Borges and is now managed by the fourth generation of his family. To this day it is one of the smallest companies on the island. They still source all their grapes throughout the island and then vinify and mature the wines in Funhal in the traditional style. On the nose really complex with hints of lapsong suchong, walnut, fig, autumn leaves and wood polish. On the palate it is insanely intense like old Longmorn in wine form for the whisky drink
