70cl / 53.3% / Thompson Bros - A long-aged expression of Inchmurrin whisky from the Loch Lomond distillery bottled by the Thompson Bros. Aged for 28 years in a refill sherry butt, this whisky offers a rarely seen level of maturation of the usually bright and zingy Inchmurrin distillate. Rich and complex, the nose has notes of dates, marzipan, savoury and earthy notes of mushrooms, and old leather. The palate continues with flavours of earthiness, hazelnuts, tobacco leaves, burnt caramel and ginger, with a long finish of nuts.
