La Forchetière is a historic winery rooted in the heart of the Loire Valley. It embodies the diversity, freshness, and elegance of this 174-mile long UNESCO World Heritage site. In both the vineyard and the cellar, cutting-edge techniques are carefully balanced with a deep respect for the natural environment. The wine undergoes cold maceration before fermentation to extract more of the grapes’ red fruit characteristics, and then a hot maceration after fermentation to build a beautiful roundness.
