Chablis 1er Cru Vosgros 2023/24

Chablis sits in the northernmost part of the Burgundy region. It has a history that dates back over millennia, a unique subsoil from the Kimmeridgean period of the Jurassic, a semi-continental climate, and passionate winemakers. Together, these elements result in inimitable dry white wines that are all about sophistication. The region is renowned worldwide for its elegant, mineral-rich wines crafted predominantly from Chardonnay grapes. The Kimmeridgian soil is the source of some of the most recognised minerals in premier and grand cru wines. The result in this wine is an opulent, generously flavoured Chablis, with notes of honey, citrus fruits and white pepper. It makes for a great pairing with grilled fish, fish and white meats in cream-based sauces or with cheeses such as goat cheese, époisses, soumaintrain and chaource.
