Apple 'Bramley 20'

All the excellent qualities of the traditional ‘Bramley’ apple but in a much smaller size. Apple 'Bramley 20' is 20% less vigorous than ‘Bramley’s Seedling’ but bears heavier crops of large, pale green fruits flushed red/orange. Crops can be harvested from early October, and will store up to March. When cooked, the apples produce a lovely, fluffy puree with a sharp flavour. Like other triploid varieties, Apple 'Bramley 20' has excellent disease resistance and heavy yields of large fruits. It makes an excellent cooking apple for the smaller garden.This variety is not self fertile and requires a suitable pollination partner grown nearby. Pollination group: 3.
