CarPlan Gastite Red Gasket Compound 50g

Gastite Red is a semi-hardening gasket and jointing compound with excellent gap filling properties making it ideal for use in pitted or uneven machined surfaces. Use for sealing joints with a gasket or for easy sealing of joints where a gasket is not required. • Resistant to petrol, diesel, oil, water, steam & anti freeze • Quick & easy to dismantle components after assembly • Suitable for use on Aluminium and cylinder heads. • Holds gaskets in place during assembly • Withstands temperatures from -40°C to + 250°C Directions For Use: 1. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, grease, rust or dirt. 2. Remove cap from tube, pierce top and apply evenly over both surfaces 3. Leave for a few minutes then apply parts. 4. Excess compound can be removed with methylated spirits 5. Replace cap after use
