Q10 Toothpaste is a special formulation toothpaste with a high content of co-enzyme Q10 and comes in a 75ml tube. Q10 Toothpaste helps to maintain levels of co-enzyme Q10 found in healthy tooth pockets. It also helps to keep teeth and gums healthy and free from bacteria that can cause caries as well as build up of tartar and plaque. It has been shown that diseased gums have particularly low levels of coenzyme Q10. Supplementation with Q10 increases levels of Q10 found in the tooth pockets. Q10 can also shift the balance of "good" and "bad" bacteria in the mouth in favour of the "good" bacteria. Many dentists recommend supplementation with Q10 as part of the management routine for patients with periodontal disease. Q10 Toothpaste can be used to help prevent bleeding gums or, in conjunction with Q10 supplementation, to help maintain levels of Q10 found in healthy gums.
