Acanthophyllum cerastioides 'Pretty Maid'

Tumbling prettily over walls, rocks and shallow troughs, creeping along a pathway edge or dotted through a gravel garden, Acanthophyllum cerastioides 'Pretty Maid' offers a profusion of scented flowers over a long period from spring to summer.Low, spreading mounds of soft, grey-green foliage are topped by an abundance of sweetly scented, saucer-shaped white blooms bearing delicate pink veins. Drought tolerant once established, it enjoys a freely draining soil and requires little maintenance. Sheer it over after its first flush and it will keep flowering through to August. Ultimate height and spread: 30cm (12in).
