Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Wrinkled Blue'

Small, glossy, silver-blue foliage with wavy edges is set against dark wiry stems. Pittosporum ‘Wrinkled Blue’ is a superb evergreen shrub, offering both fine texture and a beautiful shimmering colour. It has a naturally upright, dense habit that is perfect as a backdrop or screening shrub whilst it clips and shapes well into striking architectural pieces such as cones, cylinders and domes. It can also be grown as a medium to high hedge. In late spring, it produces small, maroon flowers which are not very showy but do have a lovely honey scent. This versatile evergreen shrub offers interest all year whilst being low maintenance, disease-resistant and easy-to-please. The foliage is a florist’s favourite. Height: 2.5-4m (8.2ft-13ft). Spread: 1.5-2.5m (4.9ft-8.2ft).
