Constructed from 2 ply waterproofed paper, these are an excellent alternative to cornstarch sacks. They are fully biodegradable and compostable and their full wet strength helps to ensure they won't break when full! These sacks are designed as an ideal size for garden waste and feature a flat base to sit squarely on the ground when in use. The bags can be used in small-medium bins, but with a flat base, can also be easily used on their own as free-standing waste sacks. Paper bags and sacks are particularly suited to home compost heaps and will break down quickly and harmlessly in an active, well maintained compost heap. Our bags are fully certified as compostable and biodegradable to EN13432, the internationally recognised certification for compostable material. They have the OK Compost and Din Certco certification and the paper used is from renewable resources - Not hardwood trees from rainforests. Paper bags and sacks should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place, away from sources of moisture.
