These fully compostable and biodegradable paper liners are designed to fit most small kitchen compost caddies. Approved for use by most local authorities, paper is an excellent alternative to cornstarch bags and being constructed by 1ply, 70 gsm waterproof / wet strengthed paper, their full wet strength helps to ensure they won't break when holding wet contents! The bags are designed to fit most 5 litre kitchen compost caddies. Paper bags will not always form a perfect fit in a caddy, but can be easily pushed into shape. They are designed to extend over the top of most caddies, enabling the liner to be easily lifted from the caddy when full - Simply roll down the top of the bag when inside your caddy. Paper bags and sacks are particularly suited to home compost heaps and will break down quickly and harmlessly in an active, well maintained compost heap. Our bags are fully certified as compostable and biodegradable to EN13432, the internationally recognised certification for compostable material. They have the OK Compost and Din Certco certification and the paper used is from renewable resources - Not hardwood trees from rainforests. Paper bags and sacks should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place, away from sources of moisture.
