The Perch Wall Light by Moooi brings a quiet sense of movement to the wall. A single bird, crafted from a folded paper-like material, balances lightly on a slim brass branch. It casts a warm glow as it gently sways. Designed by Umut Yamac in 2016, Perch draws on his interest in kinetic objects, origami, and the natural poise of birds. Whether used alone or in a series, the Perch Wall Light works well in hallways, bedrooms or living spaces where delicate light and attention to detail is part of the design. The Perch collection remains one of the more distinctive pieces in Moooi’s collection, designed to catch attention without trying too hard. The collection includes a floor lamp, table lamp, linear branch pendant and a large tree pendant. Please note: the recessed option is only suitable for drywalls due to the driver size. A surface mounted option is available for solid walls.
