Alisma plantago-aquatica (Marginal Aquatic)

Water Plantain is an attractive hardy perennial native to Britain and makes an excellent addition to wildlife ponds. Alisma plantago-aquatica creates vibrant drifts of wide, grey-green lanceolate leaves. Masses of tall stems bearing airy panicles of small pink/white blooms compliment the foliage in summer. Perfect for shallow pond margins and bog gardens. Height: 90cm (36). Spread: 45cm (18). Planting depth: Zone 1 & 2 to 15cm below water level.
