Tiarella 'Raspberry Sundae'

Tiarella 'Raspberry Sundae' is an award-winning variety that lifts drab, shady areas with its decorative leaves and airy blooms.Its neat, compact form is ideal for edging shady borders or planting on mass as low ground cover beneath trees and shrubs. Deeply lobed leaves, marked with darker veining, create interest even when not in bloom. In late spring and early summer, slender stems display raspberry-pink buds that burst into frothy wands of pale pink, star-shaped flowers, offering early pollen for bees. Thriving in moist soils yet surprisingly tolerant of dry shade, it brings lasting appeal to difficult areas, naturally spreading to form attractive carpets of weed-supressing foliage.
