Leontopodium alpinum

Commonly known as Edelweiss, Leontopodium alpinum is a delightful hardy alpine perennial with velvety, silver, star-like flowers which create a magnificent display upon the tidy clumps or slender, grey-green foliage throughout the summer. Perfect for well-drained soils, especially during the winter, and is ideal for rockeries and patio pots. The unique-looking blooms of Leontopodium alpinum also make wonderful dried flowers.
