Pinus strobus 'Blue Shag'

Pinus strobus 'Blue Shag' is fully hardy and evergreen, providing all year-round interest through tough weather conditions. Blue-green needle foliage is short and produced in clusters, while cones will only form when matured after 5 years since planting. Green cones can grow up to 20cm in length, which can be well worth the wait. Pinus strobus 'Blue Shag' is a great specimen plant in sun soaked borders or rock gardens.
