An unusual evergreen shrub, Stachyurus salicifolius 'Fairytale' features pendulous sprays of creamy-yellow, bell-like flowers on arching branches clothed in slender, willow-like leaves. Flowering in late winter to early spring, it offers a cheerful spectacle just as the garden begins to stir from its winter slumbers. Its relaxed, arching form makes a graceful addition to mixed borders and large containers. This distinctive shrub brings subtle seasonal drama and charm long before most other plants awaken.
