This lavish beauty boasts layer upon layer of petals forming voluminous bluish-purple flowers with a burst of white stamens in the centre. Clematis 'Franziska Marie' is an early, large flowered, double variety, blooming continuously from spring to early summer and often reflowering later in the summer if lightly pruned immediately after the first flush.
