Butternut Squash 'Honeynut' - Seeds

Butternut Squash 'Honeynut' is a petite, gourmet mini butternut squash bred for exceptional sweetness and ease of use. The mini fruit are only 225-450g and are harvestable at just 10-13 cm in length. The fruits have rich orange flesh with a caramel-like, nutty flavour and smooth texture. With edible thin skin and a small seed cavity, they roast whole perfectly. High in beta-carotene and vitamin A, it's as nutritious as it is delicious. The fruits cook beautifully in the microwave - simply pierce the skin in a few places and cook for about 12 minutes. Plants show moderate resistance to powdery mildew. Semi-vining type. Ultimate height: 30cm (12in). Ultimate spread: 3m (9.8ft).
