Sequoiadendron giganteum 'Glaucum'

Sequoiadendron giganteum ?Glaucum? has a magnificent upright, columnar habit, producing blue colour that is rarely seen. Bark is chestnut-red and spongy, with steely shaded foliage. An evergreen conifer that grows to huge heights in dry and hot climates, not quite the UK, but still reaches towering heights as a tall specimen tree. Suited for parklands and large gardens or public spaces. Height: 50m (164'). Spread: 10m (32').
