Blackberry 'Direttissima MontBlanc'

The earliest of autumn varieties, Rubus fruticosus 'Direttissima MontBlanc’ is ready for picking from August and continues fruiting until October. This primocane blackberry bears fruit on the current year’s stems, providing high yields of very large, shiny fruits that are sweet and aromatic. Unlike many other varieties, the majority of the fruits mature to full ripening. Ultimate height: 2m (6.5ft). Ultimate spread: 2.5m (8.2ft).
